Rose information: Carpet roses were first introduced by Werner Noack in 1990, they at the time received the highest award given by the All Deutschland Rose testers in Germany, one of the toughest rose tests in the world. In horticulture roses are propagated by grafting or rooting cuttings. Cultivars are selected for their flowers. They may be grafted onto a rootstock that provides sturdiness.
